Ben Spaulding, a seasoned hospitality leader with over a decade of experience, joins AC Hotel Pasadena as the hotel’s general manager. Spaulding brings a wealth of luxury hospitality expertise, having held key leadership roles at prestigious properties such as Fairmont Grand Del Mar, a AAA Five-Diamond Award-winning resort, and Fairmont Copley Plaza. He also served at Loews Hotels & Co., where he honed his skills in operations and guest service excellence. With a proven track record in operational efficiency, revenue generation, and team leadership, Spaulding is well-equipped to elevate the guest experience at AC Hotel Pasadena, ensuring a seamless blend of exceptional service and modern luxury.

Kristin Shelton, a Southern California native, joins AC Hotel Pasadena as director of sales and marketing with over 15 years of diverse hospitality experience. Shelton has held key leadership roles, including associate director of sales for both DoubleTree by Hilton and Marriott San Diego Del Mar, where she played a pivotal role in the hotel’s successful grand reopening following a full renovation. Her career spans operations, catering, and group sales, with a proven track record of driving sales growth, enhancing market reach, and leading high-performing teams. At AC Hotel Pasadena, Shelton will lead sales and marketing efforts to establish the hotel’s presence in the market and deliver exceptional results.

Set to open in February, the AC Hotel Pasadena, developed by Welcome Group, Inc., will offer a stylish and comfortable retreat in the heart of Pasadena’s Playhouse Village.
